What the 1-year guarantee actually covers
Everything that makes the tool work. If within one year of your order the LEDs stop lighting, the blade goes blunt in normal use, the housing cracks, the catcher breaks, or the USB-C port stops charging, we send you a new one. You keep the broken one.

Will it fit my dog?
Dogs and cats across sizes, from a chihuahua to a labrador. Cat claws are thinner and the light reads through them easily.
Very large breeds with thick nails need a firmer squeeze. It is not a professional grinder and we are not going to pretend otherwise.

How loud is it?
Quiet enough that most dogs stay lying down. It is a low hum, not a whine.

How do I charge it?
Any USB-C cable, and one is in the box. One charge runs about four hours, which is months of normal use for one dog.
How often should I be trimming?
Most dogs need it every three to four weeks. If you can hear the nails clicking on a hard floor, it is overdue. The trim calendar included with your order breaks it down by size.
What if I cut the quick anyway?
It stings, it bleeds more than you expect, and it stops. Keep styptic powder within reach before you start, apply firm pressure, and stop the session for the day.
What if my dog will not let me near her paws?
Try it for 60 days. If nothing has changed, email us and we refund you. You do not need to send it back.
Is it safe for cats?
Yes. The same head works on cat claws, and the light reads through them easily.
How do I empty the catcher?
The catcher is the clear cap around the blade at the head. Slide it off, tip the clippings into the bin and click it back on. Rinse it if you want.
Where is the file?
At the other end. The base is an electric file, so you clip with the head and smooth the edge with the base without picking up a second tool.
